This story describes a community-based initiative designed by members and groups affiliated with the Hamilton Roundtable for Poverty Reduction, a Vibrant Communities convener organization.

A segment of North Hamilton known as the Keith neighbourhood is surrounded by large roads and heavy enterprises and has few services to offer its residents.  Administrators at the 20-year-old North Hamilton Community Health Centre decided to open a satellite location in Keith. A web of partnerships turned vision into reality in under a year.
