The first of its kind in Canada, Project Comeback combines employment readiness and placement with housing assistance and ongoing support for homeless day labourers in Surrey, BC.  The initiative was officially launched in November 2005 by the Newton Advocacy Group Society and 55 community partners, with funding support from Service Canada.
