Concerned with low voter turnout, members of Vibrant Communities Calgary used the fall 2007 municipal election as an opportunity to find ways of involving citizens in the electoral process. This work was the first step in a larger effort to strengthen residents’ understanding of civic engagement and its impact on community life.
