Today's policy highlight
Alberta announces the appointment of 84 community, business and agency leaders to the Premier’s Council on Alberta’s Promise. The appointments are in effect until March 31, 2016. Alberta’s Promise works with businesses by providing information and support to facilitate financial and in-kind investments to agencies and communities at a local level to support children and youth programs and initiatives. The term of Alberta’s Promise was recently extended through 2018 in the recently passed Children First Act, which supports the health, safety and success of Alberta’s children.
